Victoria Laura Gutierrez grew up in the rural towns of Marysville and Yuba City, California. As a Bill and Melinda Gates Scholar, Mrs. Gutierrez was admitted to and earned her Bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Irvine. She majored in Criminology, Law and Society and minored in Philosophy. During her tenure at UC Irvine, she was a Program Director for the Criminology Outreach Program and received the Multi-Disciplinary Achievement Award from the School of Social Ecology.
Mrs. Gutierrez continued her educational journey at the University of California, Davis, School of Law. Mrs. Gutierrez served on multiple Student Organization Boards and was the Founder and Co-President of a student organization. To further develop her skills as a litigator, she worked at the Sutter County District Attorney’s Office, the UC Davis Civil Rights Clinic and the UC Davis Family Protection and Legal Assistance Clinic. It was during this exposure that Mrs. Gutierrez won her first case. Mrs. Gutierrez was awarded the UC Davis Pro Bono Certificate and UC Davis Public Interest Certificate.
Prior to joining the Bohm Law Group, Mrs. Gutierrez worked at a Family Law Office and Personal Injury Law Firm. Mrs. Gutierrez’s experience led her in the direction of Employment Law where she handles multiple complex cases regarding discrimination and whistleblowing lawsuits.
Mrs. Gutierrez is licensed to practice in all California state courts and the Eastern and Northern District of California. She is a member of the California Employment Lawyers Association (CELA), Consumer Attorneys of California (CAOC), and Capital City Trial Lawyers Association (CCTLA).
