Victoria L. Harp is an attorney at Rodriguez & Associates who has extensive experience in personal injury/torts, family law, criminal law, and various civil litigation.
Victoria Harp was born and raised in West Bloomfield, Michigan. She attended one of the nation’s best ranked colleges, the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor, earning a degree in Political Science and English, and was involved in LSA Student Government and an International Mentorship Program during her undergraduate days. She earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Michigan Law School in May 2018.
During her time in law school, Victoria worked in the Unemployment Insurance Legal Clinic and volunteered at the Attorney Public Benefits Advocacy Project. She spent her first summer during law school as a Student Attorney for the Juvenile Justice Clinic & Michigan General Clinic and the next summer as a Law Clerk Intern for a private firm in Michigan. The last summer of law school brought her to Indian Wells, California, where she was a Law Clerk in the Law Offices of Barry Regar.
California must have made an impression on her because after earning her JD, Victoria took a job as an Associate Attorney for Swanson O’Dell in Bakersfield. She is passionate about litigating for clients and has extensive experience in Personal Injury / Torts, Family Law, Criminal Law, and various civil litigation. Victoria is an excellent orator and her briefs and motions have been met with strong results.
She is a member of the Rotary Club of Bakersfield East and past President of the Kern County Bar Young Lawyer Section. She currently sits on the charitable foundation for the Kern County Bar. Victoria also serves as the Career Advisor for the Kern County College Of Law. Aside from practicing personal injury law in Bakersfield, Victoria also is the CEO of the local non-profit, Daily Reprieve, Inc., which is a sober living provider. When she is out of the office, she enjoys spending time with her dog, refurbishing furniture, reading science fiction, and kayaking.
