I grew up in a suburb of Toledo, Ohio, and attended The Ohio State University for my undergraduate education and Capital University for legal education. I have always had a passion for advocating for others and standing up for what I believe is right.
During law school, I had the pleasure of clerking at the Franklin County Public Defender's Office in the Felony division. Working here was great first-hand experience in the criminal justice system, and also helped me familiarize myself with the Judges and Magistrates.
After law school and being admitted to the Ohio Bar, I worked as an associate attorney for a private law firm practicing predominately domestic law.
