Willard L. Hemsworth III was admitted to the bar for the practice of law in the State of Illinois in 2003. Since then he has focused his career on matters involving civil and commercial litigation, with an emphasis on helping victims of violent and traumatic accidents though personal injury litigation.
Mr. Hemsworth received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana. He subsequently went on to complete his Juris Doctor from The John Marshall Law School in Chicago. Mr. Hemsworth’s accomplishments at John Marshall include serving on the editorial board of the Review of Intellectual Property Law, writing a published comment in the Review of Intellectual Property Law and researching and authoring two Illinois Evidence Treatise updates authored by Professor Ralph Ruebner.
Mr. Hemsworth has represented victims of accidents of all types, from motor vehicle accidents to complex construction cases. He has taken over two dozen cases to jury trial with favorable verdicts in each and every one of those matters.
Mr. Hemsworth’s educational and professional backgrounds offer his clients the level and quality of experienced representation that victims of both negligent and intentional acts deserve.
