William Huye is the Louisiana Managing Partner at McClenny Moseley & Associates’ New Orleans Office.
William is a seasoned first party bad faith attorney. William has successfully resolved thousands of hurricane, wind, fire, hail and flood claims in Louisiana, Texas, Florida, Mississippi, New York, and New Jersey. To best serve his clients, William uses detailed systems and processes to thoroughly document property damage. These systems are designed to force early settlement without the need for extensive litigation. Although William enjoys trying cases, William realizes the most important service he can provide for his clients is timely cashflow.
William first began working property damage claims when in law school. After personally enduring multiple hurricanes and floods, William understands what it’s like to survive a natural disaster and has a passion for helping disaster victims to recover completely and as quickly as possible. William’s entire legal career has been devoted exclusively to assisting property owners in their plight to enforce their insurance policies and to recover any available additional bad faith penalties, costs, and attorney fees that may be due to them.
William grew up in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and attended high school at Episcopal High School. William then attended Millsaps College and graduated in 3 years with a B.A. in Business Administration. William remained at Millsaps and received an M.B.A. before beginning law school at Loyola University New Orleans School of Law. During law school, William was an avid participant in the Trial Advocacy Program and competed at several national trial advocacy competitions. After receiving his J.D., William was admitted to practice in all Louisiana State and Federal District Courts, and the U.S. Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.
When not at the office, William lives Uptown in New Orleans with his wife Allie. William enjoys all things outdoors and can be found kayaking on Bayou St. John, grilling in Audubon Park, and hiking the Mississippi levee trail.
