Zac Fry was born in Brunswick, Georgia. From there, he moved to Greer, South Carolina, in 1995. Since moving, Zac attended Greenville County public schools and finished Greer High School in 2007. Upon graduation, he enrolled at the University of South Carolina in Columbia. While there, Zac graduated in 2011 with a double major in Political Science and Criminal Justice. Consequently, he started later that same year at the Charlotte School of Law where he earned his Juris Doctorate in the Spring of 2014.
Zac is a member of the South Carolina Bar. Initially, he started his career as a law clerk for Judge Eugene C. Griffith, Jr. He is the resident Circuit Judge for the Eighth Judicial Circuit. Then in May 2015, Zac was hired by the Sixteenth Circuit Solicitor's Office as an Assistant Solicitor. While there, he was assigned to the DUI Unit in Rock Hill. Most noteworthy, Zac prosecuted over 400 DUI cases and tried multiple cases to verdict. Zac's experience as a prosecutor taught him what it takes to convict individuals of DUI. Because he was a former prosecutor, Zac is able to use this training to defend DUI, DUAC, or felony DUI charges. Finally, he was recently admitted into the National Trial Lawyers Top 40 Under 40 and National College for DUI Defense.
