By nature, Ms. Francis is a kind, sincere, empathetic advocate, who is drawn to helping others in their time of need. She is a committed trial attorney, dedicated to developing cases and her craft through hard work, strategy, and education.

Her work experience includes bench trials, jury trials, direct appeals, and post-conviction petitions.


Ms. Francis received her law degree from the DePaul University College of Law in Chicago, where she graduated in the top 15% of her class. During law school, she served as captain of the National Moot Court Trial Team, clerked for civil judges, tried felony cases in the Cook County Public Defender's office, and worked at the Center for Justice in Capital Cases. She graduated cum laude with a certificate in Public Interest Law and received the Dean's Certificate of Pro Bono Service.
