Amy worked for her first several years of practice representing victims of Hurricane Ike and participated in the settlement of first-party, bad faith insurance cases. In 2011, Amy joined Burnett Law Firm where she continues to fight for the rights of our clients.
Since starting at Burnett Law Firm, Amy has successfully fought for thousands of women harmed by transvaginal mesh (TVM). She still fights for many more of those harmed by TVM in addition to crusading for victims harmed by other harmful drugs and defective devices, such as Xarelto, Zofran, IVC Filters and Risperdal.
Amy received her undergraduate degree from Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio where she graduated cum laude in 2003. In 2010, she received her doctor of jurisprudence from South Texas College of Law. She has been licensed to practice law in Texas since 2010 and is admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas.
She is a member of the American Association for Justice and Texas Trial Lawyers Association. Amy has also been recognized in 2016 by The National Trial Lawyers as a Top 40 Attorney Under 40.
