In some recent cases:
an ambulance was struck and rolled over causing its driver to suffer broken bones requiring a serious surgery in which metal plates and screws were used to hold the broken bones together, called Open Reduction, Internal Fixation ("ORIF"); a bakery delivery truck hit a world-famous scientist walking across the street, who sustained a severe Traumatic Brain Injury ("TBI") from which he died a year later; a botched delivery caused an innocent baby to suffer from Erb's Palsy, partial paralysis to his arm due to a neck injury including the nerves in his brachial plexus. These cases and others involve multi-million dollar corporate defendants with huge insurance policies issued by the largest insurance companies in the world. They hire the best defense lawyers around and never willingly take responsibility for the damages they've caused until faced with a jury at trial. Cases handled by Mr. Leftt have appeared on the front pages of such newspapers as the New York Times and New York Law Journal, inside the Wall Street Journal, New York Post and Daily News, and as lead stories on Yahoo and AOL news.
