Aub A. Ward is dedicated to his personal injury clients in Baton Rouge, South Louisiana and the area he grew up, North Louisiana. His practice is focused on automobile accidents, 18-wheeler accidents, maritime and Jones Act law cases, as well as product-related personal injury. He is a graduate of the Louisiana State University Paul M. Hebert Law Center and he has dedicated his entire legal career to helping those who deserve justice. After graduating from law school, Mr. Ward began his law career by clerking for Federal Judge E. Gordon West of the Middle District of Louisiana. In 1981, he formed Naquin & Ward, with John Naquin, a law practice dedicated solely plaintiff personal injury law. In 2018, he became associated with Gordon McKernan Injury Attorneys, focusing on work in the Baton Rouge and North Louisiana areas.
Mr. Ward is a member of the Louisiana Association for Justice, where he served on the Board of Governors. He is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates as well as The Trial Lawyers College. Mr. Ward attended the Gerry Spence Trial Lawyers College in 2008 and works with that organization locally and nationally to assist injury attorneys in preparing their cases for trial. He has received a rating of AV Preeminent from Martindale-Hubbell*, an award given only to attorneys who exemplify a high standard of ethics and maintain a high record of success on behalf of their clients. In 2011 and 2018, Mr. Ward was recognized as a top rated attorney by the Louisiana Life magazine. He has been designated a Superlawyer in 2009-2013, 2015-2018.
He is a member of Trinity Episcopal Church where he serves on various committees including the vestry.
