Beauregard William Patterson is an attorney with Pines Bach, whose practice focuses on complex plaintiff-side trial and appellate litigation. Attorney Patterson has dedicated his professional career to fighting for civil rights. He advocates for his clients’ civil and constitutional rights in a variety of areas including: racial and sex discrimination, equal pay act violations, class actions, constitutional separation of powers, just cause arbitrations of adverse employment actions, and administrative hearings and appeals before the EEOC, DWD, and UW-System.
Recently, Attorney Patterson has been named a 2020 Super Lawyers “Rising Star” in Civil Litigation and a Top 40 Under 40 civil plaintiff attorney by National Trial Lawyers. He has helped win significant victories for the public in cases challenging unconstitutional legislation. see Service Employees International Union, Loc. 1 v. In law school, Attorney Patterson served as law clerk for the University of Wisconsin-Madison Office of Legal Affairs. Also, he received the Abner Brodie Award for Outstanding Achievement in Legal Study and Practical Application of Law and received, along with his supervisor and partner, an honorable mention for the Clinical Legal Education Association’s Award for Excellence in a Public Interest Case for co-chairing and winning a five-day jury trial in Dane County Circuit Court while a clinical law student with the Neighborhood Law Clinic.
