Cole focuses his practice in representing individuals in the area of personal injury and wrongful death matters including medical malpractice, automotive and trucking negligence, construction negligence, products liability, premises liability and other professional malpractice. Prior to representing injured victims, Cole spent time as a defense lawyer, within the medical malpractice/professional liability and high exposure departments at insurance defense firms. Working on the defense side has given Cole a unique perspective and a competitive advantage in his representation of injured plaintiffs. Understanding how the other side thinks, and anticipating the other side's moves, has enabled his clients to achieve significant results.
Cole is licensed to practice law in the State of Illinois (2011), the Northern District of Illinois (2012), and the State of California (2015). Cole is also an active member in the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association, the Illinois Bar Association, and the American Association of Justice.
Cole was born and raised in the City of Chicago, on the City's north side, prior to attending the University of Wisconsin where he studied English and political science. Cole attended The John Marshall Law School, where he focused his studies in the areas of civil litigation and trial advocacy, while working full time as a law clerk for a prestigious plaintiff's personal injury firm in Chicago. In his free time, Cole enjoys spending time with his wife, family and friends along with playing 16_ softball and golf during the summer.
