Douglass F. Noland is a lifelong resident of Clay County, Missouri. He graduated from William Jewell College in Liberty, Missouri, and from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law. He is admitted to practice in Missouri and Kansas. He is admitted to practice before the Federal Courts in Missouri and Kansas, the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the Supreme Court of the United States. He is an Adjunct Professor in Trial Advocacy at UMKC School of Law, and was an Adjunct Professor at William Jewell College. He served as Assistant Prosecuting Attorney for Clay County and was the Chief Assistant Prosecuting Attorney. He has also served as a Special Prosecuting Attorney. He received the Clay County Bar Association Distinguished Attorney Award in 2008. He is Board Certified in Civil Trial Advocacy by the National Board of Trial Advocacy, a member of the Million Dollar Advocacy Forum, the Missouri Bar Board of Governors, the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys Board of Governors, and has an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell. He was awarded Missouri Lawyers Weekly 2015 Influential Appellate Advocate.
