Everette Doffermyre specializes in business litigation and consumer class actions. He also serves as Managing Partner of the firm.

Mr. Doffermyre was born in Dunn, North Carolina in 1948. He attended the University of Virginia where he received his undergraduate degree in economics, with high honors, in 1970, and his law degree in 1973. In recent years, Mr. Doffermyre has been active in various matters involving the University of Virginia and served, in 1999-2000, as President of the University's Alumni Association.

Mr. Doffermyre began his career in 1973 with the Atlanta firm now known as Kilpatrick Stockton. Elected partner in 1979, he practiced with the Kilpatrick firm until he left in 1988 to establish his own firm.

Mr. Doffermyre's business litigation practice has spanned a wide range of areas, including claims for breach of contract, breach of trust or fiduciary duty, lost profits, trade secrets, patents and trademark infringement, and business torts. In the area of class actions, Mr. Doffermyre has served as lead or co-lead counsel on behalf of consumers in a number of nationwide and statewide class cases involving problems ranging from defective home building materials to environmental claims and denial of insurance benefits.

Mr. Doffermyre serves as a trustee of several charitable and educational concerns, including currently The National Childhood Cancer Foundation, the Episcopal Media Center (formerly known as the Episcopal Radio-Television Foundation), the University of Virginia College of Arts and Sciences, Crossroad Community Ministries, and the Georgia State Golf Foundation. He also serves on the Junior Championship Committee of the United States Golf Association. He is a 1988 graduate of Leadership Atlanta.
