Gina (Ryen) Force is a local resident of Indiana County initially from Marion Center, Pennsylvania. After graduating from Marion Center Area High School, Attorney Force attended PENNSYLVANIA STATE UNIVERSITY where she graduated with High Distinction with a Bachelor Degree in Crime, Law, & Justice [Legal Studies Option] and a Minor Degree in Sociology. While attending Penn State, she became a member of the PHI BETA KAPPA and Golden Key Honor Societies.
After receiving her undergraduate degree, Attorney Force received her law degree from SYRACUSE UNIVERSITY COLLEGE OF LAW where she graduated Cum Laude. While in law school, she participated in an Elder Law Clinic, Phi Alpha Delta, and took elective courses focusing on criminal and property law. During a summer program at SUCOL, Attorney Force worked as a judicial law clerk in the Woolwich Crown Court for His Honour Christopher Kinch, QC located in Greenwich, England. Adjoining the Category A Belmarsh Prison, Woolwich Crown Court is unique in that it serves as a higher criminal court, having heard some of the most egregious and high profile cases throughout England.
After moving back to Indiana, Pennsylvania, Attorney Force worked for a local general practice before opening RYEN-FORCE LAW, P.C. in May of 2016. Currently, Attorney Force is a member of Law Day Committee and the Solicitor for the Borough of Plumville. She also proudly serves as the Solicitor for the Indiana County Prison Board. Outside of her general practice, Attorney Force began working as a prosecutor as her role as ASSISTANT DISTRICT ATTORNEY for the Indiana County District Attorney's Office in October of 2016. In January of 2019, Attorney Force was promoted to FIRST ASSISTANT DISTRICT ATTORNEY under District Attorney Patrick Dougherty. Beginning in January of 2020, Attorney Force continued on as FIRST ASSISTANT DISTRICT ATTORNEY under District Attorney Robert Manzi. Attorney Force also works as court-appointed counsel for parents and/or guardians whose children are under protective services with CHILDREN & YOUTH SERVICES since July of 2016.
