Jacob M. Burg's practice is focused on personal injury litigation. Mr. Burg obtained his J.D. from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law. While at the University of Denver, Mr. Burg served as the Vice President of the Student Trial Lawyers Association. Mr. Burg is currently a member of the Craig Hospital PUSH event planning committee. Craig Hospital is a Denver-based hospital that is world-renowned as a premier center for specialty rehabilitation and research for people with spinal cord injury and traumatic brain injury. Mr. Burg is also a member of the Colorado Bar Association Legal Fee Arbitration Committee.
Prior to joining Burg Simpson, Mr. Burg served as a legal intern for Colorado Governor John Hickenlooper's Office of Legal Counsel. Mr. Burg obtained his B.A. in Political Science from the University of Michigan (2011). While attending the University of Michigan, Mr. Burg interned in Washington, D.C. for U.S. Senator Mark Udall and served as a finance intern for the 2008 Democratic National Convention Host Committee.
Jacob Burg was recently selected as an "Up and Coming Lawyer" for 2018 by Law Week Colorado.
