James S. Rogers, who has practiced personal injury law for nearly thirty two years, is one of Seattle's most prominent trial lawyers. Mr. Rogers represents individuals in civil litigation who have been seriously injured or killed due to the fault of others.

Mr. Rogers graduated from the University of Washington and the University of Arizona College of Law, after which he was admitted to the Washington State Bar in 1973. Mr. Rogers has been engaged in private practice since 1974. He established his own law offices in 1986, and became a co-founder of Rogers & Fleck, PLLC, in 2001.

Mr. Rogers's work in the practice of personal injury litigation has resulted in his invitation to join several distinguished honorary societies. Mr. Rogers is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, a Fellow of the International Academy of Trial Lawyers, and a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates (President, Washington Chapter). These organizations extend invitations to only a select group of highly qualified and accomplished trial lawyers in the United States.

Mr. Rogers has also earned the respect of his peers in trial law. Mr. Rogers was selected for the 2003-2007 editions of “The Best Lawyers in America”, and was named one of Seattle Magazine's “Top Lawyers” in its 2003, 2005 and 2007 editions. Mr. Rogers has been selected as a “Super Lawyer” by Washington Law & Politics every year since 2000, and has been named among the top vote-getters each year by vote of his peers. Mr. Rogers was named in Seattle Metropolitan Magazine's, “Best Lawyers” issue, June 2006.

In 1998, Mr. Rogers was honored by the Washington State Trial Lawyers Association as its Trial Lawyer of the Year and, in 2002, he received WSTLA's President's award for his contribution to the civil justice system.

Mr. Rogers has been a leader in governing bodies of trial lawyers. He has served as President of the Washington State Trial Lawyers Association (WSTLA), and the Western Trial Lawyers Association. Mr. Rogers was a nine-year member of the Board of Governors of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America (ATLA).
