John Ledford is a workers' compensation attorney who is passionate about helping others. That is one of the reasons he entered into the legal field and practices law as a workers' compensation attorney at Palace Law. He has always focused his career on helping those who have been injured.
John is originally from Albany, Georgia. He attended the University of Georgia where he attained his bachelor's degree in business. He went on and graduated from Mercer University, Walter F. George School of Law, in Macon Georgia. He began his career as an attorney in Albany, Georgia, where he practiced in a family firm with his father who is also an attorney. His practice focused on representing clients in civil matters such as personal injury, medical malpractice, wrongful death and criminal defense. He gained valuable experience in a broad range of issues at both the federal and state levels. While in Georgia, John volunteered with Georgia Legal Services, where he provided advice and legal help with wills, estates and other civil issues for individuals who could not afford legal representation. He also participated in clinics where people from the community could come with legal problems and he would provide assistance. John also enjoyed volunteering as a judge during an area high school mock trial competitions through The Young Lawyer division in Dougherty County, Georgia
John and his wife, who is also an attorney and a Washington native, decided to move to the Pacific Northwest in August 2014. He transferred his practice and joined Palace Law where he now focuses solely on assisting injured workers. John understands the difficulties of the legal system and is dedicated to working hard on behalf of his clients. He enjoys working closely with his clients to help them through the difficult legal process and is strongly dedicated to protecting their rights and obtaining all benefits possible for his clients.
In his free time, John enjoys spending time with his wife, who is originally from Burien. Together, they enjoy running, skiing, hiking and exploring the beautiful Pacific Northwest. He is also an avid hunter and fisherman.
