JOHNPATRICK C. O’BRIEN is a principal of Cohen and Wolf, P.C. and is a member of the firm’s Personal Injury Group. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. O’Brien was a partner with Zeisler & Zeisler, P.C.
Johnpatrick represents clients in a wide variety of personal injury matters, including automobile collisions, premises liability, animal attacks, workers compensation, wrongful death and medical malpractice. He has extensive legal experience in both bench and jury trials, as well as arguing before the Appellate Court. Johnpatrick’s goal is to make sure that all his clients receive the just compensation they deserve for their injuries.
Johnpatrick is recognized as a “Top 100” Trial Lawyer by the National Trial Lawyers Association (2013-2018), is listed among the “Top 10” attorneys for client satisfaction by the American Institute of Personal Injury Lawyers (2016), has been recognized by Premier Lawyers of America (2019) and The Best of The Best Attorneys (2019). Johnpatrick is a member of the American and Connecticut Bar Associations, the Greater Bridgeport Bar Association, the Connecticut Trail Lawyers Association and the American Association of Justice. He serves as an Attorney Trail Referee, a factfinder and an arbitrator for the Judicial Districts of Bridgeport and Milford. In addition, he is a representative of the Connecticut Bar Associations House of Delegates District 5.
Johnpatrick hold’s a bachelor’s degree, cum laude, from Sacred Heart University, a Master’s in Public Administration from Missouri State University and a J.D. from Thomas M. Cooley Law School. Mr. O’Brien and his family live in Southport.
