Jolynn M. Falto is a partner and trial attorney for éclat Law, LLP, an innovative general civil trial firm dedicated to delivering client-focused solutions in the practice areas of civil rights and employment law, complex litigation, business law, and entertainment and arts. Jolynn has been a civil trial attorney, with éclat since 2017 and is a member of the firm’s employment, complex and class action litigation teams. Although she handles a wide range of civil matters, her primary focus includes representing employees and companies in wage claims, civil rights violations, and other employment related disputes. Jolynn also represents individuals and businesses in disputes involving governmental entities and insurance companies.

The focus of Jolynn’s work is not limited by conventional categories of issues; her broad scope of knowledge is as expansive as her passion and desire to advocate the rights and privileges of her clients as provided for by the laws of this Nation and the State of Florida. Representative samples of the matters that she has worked on throughout her legal career include:

• Representation of individuals and companies, individually and in class actions, in wage claims under the Fair
Labor Standards Act and state law equivalents.
• Civil Rights and other disputes involving federal, state, and local governmental entities.
• First party claims involving insurance companies, including claims for bad faith.
• Disputes between business owners, shareholder disputes, derivative actions, and related business tort issues.
• Motor vehicle accidents, catastrophic loss, personal injury, and wrongful death claims.
• Landlord-tenant disputes, commercial and residential evictions, and enforcement of lease agreements.
• General commercial litigation, breach of contract, lien enforcement, and construction law matters.
• Malicious prosecution matters.
• Appellate matters.

A true advocate for justice, Jolynn has been recognized as a Top 40 Under 40 Trial Lawyer in Florida by the National Trial Lawyers (NTL) twice. This honor is bestowed upon distinguished criminal defense and civil plaintiff attorneys based upon their qualifications, trial results, and leadership. The NTL also has added her to its 40 Under 40 executive committee. In addition, she has been admitted to The Florida Bar and the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida.

Jolynn believes in giving back and she proudly sits on the Board of Directors for éclat Law’s Foundation for Community Action, a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to empowering the success of our community through partnerships with a focus on veterans, arts & culture, and local nonprofits; as well as ART@éclat, the in-office art gallery which features the works of emerging artists in Florida and provides scholarships for visual arts college students.

Jolynn received her bachelor’s degrees in Political Science and French from Stetson University in 2013 and earned her Jurist Doctorate from the Barry University – Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law in 2017. Prior to joining éclat as an associate, Jolynn clerked for the law firm and was a legal clerk at the Ninth Judicial Circuit Court in Orlando, FL while she attended law school. She is also proficient in speaking Spanish and is conversational in French.

A self-proclaimed foodie, Jolynn even plans her vacations around restaurants in which she would like to eat. She is passionate about saving animals and has adopted and rescued an interesting mix of both feathered and furry creatures including her newest family members, two ducklings named Grape and Tomato. Jolynn enjoys reading in her downtime as well, and in 2022 alone, has read 369 different books! Additionally, she is a coffee-lover and has collected nine types of coffee makers so that she can continue improving her barista skills. Jolynn truly feels that her wide range of interests and her love of reading helps her to be a better lawyer because she has learned to be more compassionate and creative to suit her client’s individual needs.
