Tacopina has tried nearly 100 cases to verdict and received one of the largest civil verdicts in New Jersey, as well as an acquittal for a NYPD officer accused of rape and burglary in a case that garnered national media attention. Other notable cases where Tacopina has triumphed include the acquittal of a former New York State Senator accused of felony assault; an acquittal in the highly sensationalized trial accusing CBP officers of felony assault against Federal agents; as well as achieving a not guilty verdict in the publicized trial accusing his client of vehicular homicide. Tacopina has also represented former NY Yankee, Alex Rodriguez, in his controversial appeal with Major League Baseball as well as Meek Mill where Tacopina was successful in getting the rapper’s 2008 conviction overturned and granted a new trial.
