Justin, affectionately known as "Bamberg from Bamberg," is a native of Bamberg, South Carolina. After finishing law school in just two and a half years, he began his legal career with the Hood Law Firm - a mid-sized civil defense litigation firm based in Charleston - where he litigated on behalf of his clients in state and federal court. He has represented clients in an array of cases ranging from minor motor vehicle collisions to catastrophic injury and large scale class action litigation. In 2014, he left the insurance defense industry to join Lanier & Burroughs, where he has since been an advocate for injured persons throughout the State of South Carolina.
Justin is a Member of the South Carolina House of Representatives,where he serves the citizens of House District 90 in Bamberg, Barnwell & Colleton Counties. He currently sits on the House Medical, Municipal & Military Affairs Committee, the House Operations & Management Committee, and he is the Parliamentarian for the South Carolina Legislative Black Caucus. Justin is the current 3rd Vice Chair of the Bamberg County Democratic Party, and he is a Whip for the House Democratic Party.
