Kevin LaMarca is an attorney in The Lanier Law Firm’s Houston office. Kevin focuses his practice on asbestos litigation, product liability, toxic torts, and personal injury cases.
Kevin earned his bachelor’s degree from Baylor University and his law degree from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law, where he graduated cum laude in 2012. While in law school, Kevin served as an editor on the International Law Review Association. He received the prestigious Quill and Torch Award for Excellence in Legal Research and Writing for his analysis of water rights among countries of the Global South. Additionally, his article on the framework of Argentinean energy law was published in the Law and Business Review of the Americas in 2011.
Kevin was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 2012 and the Louisiana Bar in 2019. Since beginning his practice, he has obtained millions of dollars representing clients in cases involving toxic torts and products liability. His clients have included production workers, mechanics, construction workers, Navy veterans, and individuals exposed to asbestos fibers brought into the home on the work clothes of a spouse or parent.
More recently, Kevin’s work has focused on representing men and women harmed by talcum powder products.
Kevin has represented clients in both state and federal courtrooms throughout the country, including Louisiana, Florida, Georgia, Rhode Island, and Pennsylvania to name a few.
From 2018 to 2021, Kevin was named a Top 40 Under 40 Civil Plaintiff Lawyer by The National Trial Lawyers. He is also a member of The Texas Trial Lawyers Association.
Kevin, his wife, their three kids, and dog enjoy spending time outdoors, visiting National Parks, and rooting for the New Orleans Saints.
