Different people have different callings for different reasons. My ultimate goal is to leave this place better than I found it.
For more than 8 years, Attorney Lance Walters has been part of the Tracey & Fox legal team, and he's made significant impacts for clients since he joined the firm. In his first year on the team, Walters played an integral role in helping to obtain a grand settlement for four premises liability claims and two wrongful death claims. Since then, he has continued to act as a force to be reckoned with, both in and out of the courtroom.
With an impeccable knowledge of the law and a keen focus on client rights, Lance has been recognized in Texas as well as across the nation. Since he joined the legal community, he's served as a witness in an American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) Conference - an invitation extended to only the best lawyers in the field.
Lance earned his B.A. in kinesiology from Concordia University of Austin. He then went on to attend Thurgood Marshall School of Law, where he participated in moot court activities. Upon graduating with his Juris Doctorate, Lance was invited to participate in the Intense Trial Advocacy program at the University of Notre Dame law School. Here, he was given the irreplaceable opportunity to hone his trial skills and legal techniques - many of which he still uses today. Attorney Walters has since been invited to return and assist other new lawyers attending the program.
An avid family man, Lance enjoys spending time with his wife (his college sweetheart!) and their two sons. He loves spending time outdoors and can frequently be found rooting for the Notre Dame football team or volunteering at the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston.
