Louie J. Cook joined Sico Hoelscher Harris LLP after graduating Magna Cum Laude from Baylor Law School.
During his time at Baylor, Mr. Cook won both the prestigious Dawson & Sodd Moot Court Competition and "Mad Dog" Mock Trial Competition. He also served as a Senior Executive Editor on Baylor's Law Review. Mr. Cook attributes his success at Baylor Law to the work ethic and perseverance he developed as a member of several nationally ranked cross-country and track teams at Oklahoma Baptist University.
Mr. Cook does not view representing hard-working people who have been wronged merely as a profession, but as a calling to help those who are in their greatest time of need. This view was instilled in Mr. Cook by his grandparents, a wheat farmer and high school choir teacher, who always put others' needs before their own.
He has litigated cases against some of the world's largest corporations including Ford Motor Company, Bridgestone/Firestone, Damien Chrysler, and General Motors.
He has also been involved in the fight against human trafficking and the sexual exploitation of minors. His mission is to help everyday people notice the red flags of a trafficked victim and to help bring companies who have violated anti-trafficking laws to justice in order to prevent future exploitation. The sexual exploitation of minors is a problem that cannot be overlooked.
Mr. Cook and his wife met their first day of college at Oklahoma Baptist University and have been together ever since. The two enjoy spending time at the beach and cooking for friends and family.
