MDK Matthew David Karnas (David) grew up in Woodbridge, New Jersey and graduated from the University of Arizona in 1986. Subsequently, Mr. Karnas worked as a legislative assistant for Art Hamilton, the first African American elected to the Arizona State Legislature. David then received a Masters Degree in Environmental Science from the State University of New York at Syracuse and his law degree, with honors, from Syracuse University, College of Law in 1990. David has been engaged in the practice of law since 1991. David has devoted the majority of his time to representing individuals through personal injury, mass tort, and class action litigation.
David’s clients have received millions of dollars over the past 25 years in settlements and verdicts. In recognition of his achievements he has been recognized as one of the top trial lawyers in the country. David donates a percentage of his fees to the Karnas Kids Foundation (KKF), a charitable organization that helps children in need.
