Jane practiced critical care nursing prior to attending law school, and has been licensed to practice nursing in Ohio since 1980. Ms. Rua received her law degree from the Ohio State University College of Law and has been licensed to practice law since 1986. The focus of her practice is in preparing and litigating medical malpractice cases, and she has extensive trial experience. Ms. Rua has lectured and instructed other lawyers on preparing and litigating medical malpractice cases, and has also educated nurses regarding issues of potential negligence and patient quality of care. She was honored by the Mahoning Trumbull County Academy of Trial Lawyers as an Outstanding Trial Lawyer, 1997. She is listed in the American Registry of Outstanding Professionals and Who's Who in American Law.
