Manuel ‘Manny’ Serra-Jovenich is a Partner Attorney at the Rossen Law Firm. He became a lawyer to use his talents to help others and experience the thrill of litigating. Manny has tried more than 25 jury trials in his career and handled over 1,000 cases. In 2018, he was named to the National Trial Lawyers' Top 40 Under 40 list and also named 10 Best in Client Satisfaction by the American Institute of Criminal Law Attorneys.
Having fought against big banks during Florida's foreclosure crisis, Manny protected people's constitutional rights as a Broward County Public Defender. He has represented homeowners when their insurance claims were underpaid or denied - even though they pay their premium month after month for years and years. He loves to represent a “David” against a “Goliath”.
Manny graduated from the University of Florida, where he was a member of the Dean's List and a Florida Bright Future Scholarship recipient. He then graduated from Nova Southeastern Law School as a member of the school's Law Review, Moot Court Society, and Dean's List. During all three years of law school, Manny was a recipient of the Shepard Broad Scholarship.
