Mario M. Choi practices and represents clients in the areas of consumer, antitrust, securities, and other complex civil and commercial litigation.
Mr. Choi is currently involved in a number of litigations, including In re Aqua Dots Products Liability Litigation (N.D. Ill.), Berry v. Mega Brands (D.N.J), and In re Urethane Antitrust Litigation (D. Kan.).
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Choi worked at the New York office of Pryor Cashman LLP where he handled a number of complex commercial cases ranging from intellectual property and contract disputes to real estate and environmental issues. Mr. Choi began his legal career as a law clerk to the Honorable Richard B. Lowe, III, Justice of the New York Supreme Court, New York County, Commercial Division.
Mr. Choi is a graduate of Northeastern University School of Law. While in law school, Mr. Choi served as a judicial intern to the Honorable Bruce M. Selya of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit, interned for the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission in Boston and clerked for the Asian Law Caucus in San Francisco. Mr. Choi earned his Master of Arts at Columbia University and his Bachelor of Arts from Boston University.
Mr. Choi is admitted to the Bar of the State of New York, the State of California, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, and the United States District Courts for the Southern District of New York and the Northern, Southern and Central Districts of California. Mr. Choi is also a member of the American Bar Association, the Asian American Bar Association of the Greater Bay Area, the Bar Association of San Francisco and the American Association for Justice.
