Mark Galler is admitted to the Illinois State Bar and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. He concentrates his practice in the areas of Criminal Defense handling matters from traffic violations to first-degree murder. He also practices Civil Litigation, specifically personal injury, medical malpractice and breach of contract or fraud.
Mark Galler was raised in Inverness, Illinois, and received his B.A. from DePaul University where he was named to the Dean’s List and was a member of the Tau Sigma National Honor Society. Thereafter, he received his J.D. from The John Marshall Law School. During his tenure at The John Marshall Law School, he was a member of the Trial Advocacy & Dispute Resolution Honors Council and the Advisory Board for the Office of Professionalism and Engagement.
In 2017, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, in conjunction with the Chicago Chapter of the Federal Bar Association, awarded Mark Galler with an Award for Excellence in Pro Bono Service. Other credentials include membership in the Judicial Evaluation Committee for Cook County, Vice-Chair of the Chicago Bar Association Young Lawyers Section Criminal Law Committee, Illinois State Bar Association, Chicago Bar Association, Justinian Society, and The John Marshall Law School Job Advisory Board.
