Maxwell Glass is the Principal of The Glass Law Group. Maxwell opened The Glass Law Group with the specific goal of helping to defend motorists charged with crimes and infractions by providing personal, client-oriented service in all of its cases. Maxwell devotes his practice to representing individuals accused of violating the New York State Vehicle & Traffic Law on Long Island and beyond. What sets Maxwell and The Glass Law Group apart from other practices and attorneys, is that while other law firms and lawyers may offer DWI/DUI defense as part of their array of services, Maxwell devotes his practice to representing those charged with vehicular crimes and infractions, with a focus on DWI.
Maxwell is a member in good standing with the New York State Bar Association, the New York Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the New York Defenders Association, the New York State Academy of Trial Lawyers, as well as local bar associations on Long Island. Maxwell is constantly focused on the ever-evolving laws that effect his clients and is always working to innovate new strategies that better serve them.
Prior to opening The Glass Law Group, Maxwell was an associate at a personal injury practice, where he regularly represented his injured clients in both simple and complex personal injury cases that arose from motor vehicle accidents and premise liability cases. While working in this environment, Maxwell became intimately familiar with the New York State Vehicle and Traffic Law, and all of its penalties and consequences. Maxwell also worked for a law firm that represented the nation’s top insurance carriers that specialized in prosecuting fraudulent insurance claims.
Maxwell earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst cum laude, and his law degree from Hofstra University’s Maurice A. Deane School of Law.
Maxwell is a native of Long Island, and proudly resides there today. Maxwell spent 4 years as a volunteer firefighter in his community.
