Nick also handles federal cases, including complex drug conspiracies. Nick is a member of the Criminal Justice Act Panel for the federal Southern District of Iowa. Nick has handled a number of federal drug conspiracy cases in which his clients received sentences well below the advisory guideline range.

Nick is a believer in fighting for his clients throughout the entirety of a case. Thus, Nick handles appeals from adverse trial verdicts or adverse sentencing outcomes. Nick has argued several times before the Iowa Court of Appeals and the Iowa Supreme Court. Nick greatly enjoys the challenge of arguing before Iowa's highest Court.

Nick is a zealous, skilled advocate committed to representing clients skillfully and professionally to achieve the very best outcomes.
