Paul J. Abraham is the founder and Managing Attorney of PJI Law. After growing up in Northern Virginia, Mr. Abraham earned two academic majors at Cornell University, where among other endeavors he presided over three organizations and was a member of the Academic Integrity Hearing Board as well as the Cornell Debate Association. He came back to Northern Virginia to obtain a Juris Doctor degree at the George Mason University School of Law, where he was a member of the Honor Committee and one of only five members of his graduating class to successfully complete the Corporate Law track.
After clerking for the Fairfax County’s Office of the County Attorney and the Office of the Public Defender, Mr. Abraham moved on to the private sector where he has represented clients in business law and estate planning for over ten years. Additionally, Mr. Abraham has been an active participant in a number of legal pro bono programs, including the Family Legal Assistance Project, Wills on Wheels, and the Housing Law Project, aside from providing business coaching advice.
Mr. Abraham has appeared on a number of radio and television shows, and his written work as a nationally syndicated columnist has been published in newspapers from coast to coast. He has been quoted in forums ranging from the nation’s leading talk radio shows, to the pages of work appearing on the New York Times Best Sellers list. Mr. Abraham has earned Avvo’s Clients’ Choice award multiple times. He has been named as a Rising Star by Super Lawyers (every year from 2016 through 2020), has been named Top 40 Under 40 in Virginia by both the National Trial Lawyers (ever year from 2014 through 2020) and the National Advocates (every year from 2017 through 2020), and has a rating of “Superb” from Avvo, the highest rating it confers.
