A Unique Legal Perspective Paul has obtained millions of dollars in settlements and verdicts on behalf of his clients. Paul's past experience in medical malpractice defense gives him a unique strategic perspective in representing plaintiffs in personal and catastrophic injury, medical malpractice and wrongful death cases. After launching his legal career with a judicial clerkship at the Connecticut Appellate Court, Paul spent over 12 years trying cases and representing doctors and hospitals in medical malpractice cases. Since 2006, he has focused his practice exclusively on the privilege of representing the victims of malpractice, carelessness and/or neglect in cases involving catastrophic injury, childhood sexual abuse, medical malpractice, wrongful death and defective products. A Connecticut “Super Lawyer” Paul has tried dozens of cases to verdict in courthouses throughout Connecticut and has argued several important cases at the Connecticut Appellate Court and the Connecticut Supreme Court. He has been honored as a “Connecticut Super Lawyer” and as a “New England Super Lawyer.” Paul was selected by his peers for inclusion in the 2011 & 2012 editions of The Best Lawyers in America. He has also earned membership in the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, one of the most prestigious groups of trial lawyers in the country, limited to attorneys who have won million or multi-million dollar verdicts or settlements. Fewer than 1% of the lawyers in the US are members. Paul is a graduate of Quinnipiac University School of Law and the College of William and Mary. He is married and the proud father of three children. When Paul is not fighting for his clients, he enjoys spending time with his family and his two dogs, Mia and Lucy.
