Russell grew up in Windsor, Colorado before graduating from Guilford College and the University of Michigan Law School. After graduating from law school, Russell worked as a Deputy District Attorney in Pueblo and La Plata Counties, where he conducted dozens of jury trials in both County and District Court and was assigned to cases ranging from DUI to First Degree Murder. During the latter part of his tenure as a Deputy District Attorney, Russell exclusively handled felony-level Domestic Violence offenses and was the County Court Supervisor, where he oversaw three other prosecutors. He is admitted to the bar in Colorado and North Carolina. Eventually, Russell decided that the time was right for him to return home to Northern Colorado, and he joined Ring & Associates as a Trial Attorney. In this capacity, he primarily practices in the field of Personal Injury, including auto and trucking accidents, medical malpractice, and wrongful death. In his free time, Russell enjoys hiking, running, spending time with his Corgi and calico cat, and rooting for the Broncos and Michigan Wolverines.
