Shellie A. Patscheck is an aggressive and smart trial attorney. She is a former Senior Trial Attorney with the San Juan County District Attorneyâ€™s Office. During her time at the D.A.â€™s office, she handled a range of felony cases, up to and including first degree murder cases. Shellie was named â€œOutstanding Prosecutor of the Yearâ€ for the 11th Judicial District in 2013. She was named â€œDomestic Violence Prosecutor of the Yearâ€ for the State of New Mexico in 2014.
After leaving the D.A.â€™s office in 2015, the District Attorney requested Shellie be appointed as a special prosecutor to try a three-week long First Degree Murder trial.
Shellie was born and raised in San Juan County. She graduated from Piedra Vista High School, San Juan College, and Fort Lewis College. She attended law school at the University of New Mexico, where she graduated cum laude in 2011.
Shellie joined the Titus & Murphy Law Firm in 2016. She focuses her practice on criminal defense, personal injury, workerâ€™s compensation, and general civil litigation.
Shellie vigorously fights to protect the rights and causes of all her clients. She has tried over 30 jury trials in her career and loves being in the courtroom. She has argued in front of the New Mexico Supreme Court and has filed appellate briefs in both the New Mexico Court of Appeals and the New Mexico Supreme Court.
