His practice is focused primarily on the representation of victims involved in motor vehicle accidents, slips/trips and falls, premises liability and construction site accidents. In addition, Mr. Haileab’s practice also focuses on representing individuals whose civil rights have been violated. This includes, cases involving police and governmental misconduct, prisoners’ rights, first amendment freedoms, and racial discrimination. Mr. Haileab is a well-respected member of his profession who is known for being tenacious while advocating for his clients in all personal injury matters.

Prior to joining Wapner, Newman, Wigrizer, Brecher & Miller, P.C., Mr. Haileab served as an Assistant District Attorney for the Philadelphia District Attorney's Office from 2015 to 2018, during which he tried hundreds of jury and bench trials. As a member of the Family Violence and Sexual Assault Unit, Mr. Haileab was responsible for investigating and prosecuting sexual assaults on minors and on young adults, and was the Office's primary prosecutor of offenders accused of violent assaults against children. Mr. Haileab received law enforcement training concerning the investigation and prosecution of sexual assaults and child pornography offenses.

Mr. Haileab is a 2008 graduate of the Pennsylvania State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. He received his Juris Doctorate degree in 2013 from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law.

Mr. Haileab is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, the State of New Jersey, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, as well as the United States Tax Court.

Mr. Haileab is an active participant in a variety of legal organizations. His memberships include the Barristers' Association of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Bar Association, New Jersey Bar Association, Probate and Trust Law Section of the Philadelphia Bar Association, and the Section on Real Property.

In his time away from the office, Mr. Haileab volunteers at a number of nonprofit organizations around the city, including the Cedar Park Neighborhood Scholarship Committee, the Eritrean Community Center of Philadelphia, Philadelphia VIP, the Homeless Advocacy Project, and Big Brothers Big Sisters of America.
