Stacy has expertise in all aspects of employment law, with two decades of counseling and litigation experience. Her practice includes litigating wrongful termination, sexual harassment, unequal pay act violations, whistle blower retaliation, non-solicitation, theft of trade secrets, wage and hour violations, independent contractor and exemption misclassification, unpaid bonuses and commissions, severance pay disputes, breach of contract, fraud, and unfair competition claims, as well as representative actions under the Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA).

Stacy advises founders, executives and businesses regarding executive compensation packages and severance agreements. Stacy conducts wage and hour audits for employers and counsels companies regarding employment issues unique to start-ups. Stacy also litigates business cases including breach of contract, fraud, failure to disclose, breach of fiduciary duty, interference with contract, unfair competition, defamation, insurance coverage and bad faith claims. 

Prior to starting Berman North, Stacy was a Partner at Pierce & Shearer LLP with Scott Berman where she handled employment issues, real estate disputes, and business litigation.
