My legal career began in Springfield, MO serving as a defense attorney for low income individuals facing custody issues within the family court system. That experience gave me a great deal of insight into the plight of many under-privileged citizens in our communities. Seeing the difficulties these families faced ignited my passion to bring equality and justice to the underserved in society. To this end, I still volunteer weekly/monthly at local Neighborhood Legal Clinics in Seattle and at the Housing Justice Project in Kent.
My path shifted when I began my work as a Prosecuting Attorney. It was an honor to serve the County and uphold the laws of my state. And it was my experience during my time as an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney that I really sharpened my skills as a trial attorney. My first jury trial verdict was returned within 11 minutes with a decision in my favor and I haven't looked back.
I would like to put my ability and experience to work for you and your family. Don't allow yourself to be intimidated when faced with legal issues. In the criminal court system it is your right to question the authorities and force them to prove their case within the rules of law. If you are dealing with an insurance company, know that they do not have your best interest in mind. Let me be your voice and force them to make you whole.
