Timothy brings years of experience in both defending and prosecuting cases involving issues such as: medical malpractice, nursing home negligence, automobile accidents, personal injury claims, insurance coverage claims, workers compensation claims, age, race, religion, gender, and disability discrimination and construction site injuries.Because of Timothy's unique experience and expertise in both defending and prosecuting these types of claims, our firm is familiar with the complex, but frequently frivolous, defenses used by defendants, their insurance companies and their attorneys in defending these cases.
In his criminal practice, Timothy also has significant experience handling all aspects of the criminal process, including pre-indictment investigations, arrest, arraignment, grand juries, pleas, discovery, pretrial hearings, trials, jury selection, evidence, motions, and post-trial remedies.
Timothy also specializes in complex civil litigation, and regularly defends clients in civil enforcement actions brought by governmental entities such as the Bureau of Securities, Division of Consumer Affairs, and the Attorney General's Office. Timothy also has substantial Appellate experience, and also handles Real Estate closings for the firm's clients.
Timothy received his undergraduate degree in Economics from Trinity College in Connecticut. Thereafter, Timothy attended Seton Hall Law School, graduatingmagna cum laudein the top 6 % of his class and was selected for inclusion in the Order of the Coif, a national honors society for his academic achievement. While in law school, Timothy interned for Justice James Zazzali of the New Jersey Supreme Court which enabled him to gain valuable experience in the functioning of the New Jersey Supreme Court. Following law school, Timothy clerked in for the Honorable Mary Catherine Cuff in the New Jersey Appellate Division where he honed his research and writing skills. Thereafter, Timothy worked at several large law firms representing insurance, reinsurance, and Fortune 500 Companies in all phases of litigation. In addition, Timothy gained valuable experience in medical malpractice and construction site accident cases defending several major hospitals in Northern New Jersey, and International Construction Companies.
Timothy was admitted to the bars of the State of New Jersey and the United States District Court, District of New Jersey. He was also admitted to the bar of the State of New York.
