EXPERIENCE At just 30 years old, Todd Schafer obtained a jury verdict of $32.5 million on behalf of a mother who suffered brain damage in an accident involving a semi-truck. He is believed to be the youngest lawyer in the country to serve as lead counsel on a case which resulted in a verdict in excess of $30 million. Just nine months later, Mr. Schafer obtained another verdict against a trucking company for $7.1 million. In May of 2017, Mr. Schafer obtained a $2.75 million dollar jury verdict for a young man who suffered a herniated disc in his lower back following a car accident. Notable settlements in 2018 include $2 million for a man injured when rear-ended by a semi-truck, $1 million (policy limit settlement) for a women who suffered a herniated disc when a semi-truck ran a red light, and $1 million (policy limit settlement) for a young man injured by a pizza delivery driver. Also in 2018, Attorney Schafer recovered a judgement in excess of $5.2 million dollars against a trucking company. While Mr. Schafer represents numerous clients injured by automobiles, he handles cases in all areas of personal injury and wrongful death.
