Tracy Lischer has an exceptional track record when it comes to representing the interests of parents and individuals in cases of birth injury, untreated jaundice, injury from delayed cancer diagnosis, wrongful death, surgical mistakes, and other injuries caused by improper medical care. That's because Tracy matches her extensive legal skills with a deeply held sense of compassion and justice – which together drive her to ensure that each of her clients receives the best legal counsel possible. Specifically, she's well known for recovering for children in cases involving Kernicterus, a preventable neurological disorder in newborns.

A member of Phi Beta Kappa, Tracy received her Ph.D. from St. Louis University and her law degree with honors from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She served a judicial clerkship on the North Carolina Court of Appeals and joined Pulley Watson in 1985. During her career, Tracy has been active in the North Carolina Academy of Trial Lawyers, chairing the Family Law Section and serving on various boards and committees, and she is a past-president of the Association of Women Attorneys. She also volunteers at the Durham Crisis Response Center.

Tracy has authored numerous articles and served as speaker for legal conferences and seminars. She has received frequent honors, including membership in the Million Dollar Advocates Forum and Life Member of the National Registry of Who's Who, and for helping to protect people's rights, she received the Kelly Crabtree Award. Nevertheless, Tracy finds that her ability to help families in need is the most rewarding part of her job.
