Victoria Barr is the founder and managing attorney of VICTORIA BARR LAW. Victoria is a zealous advocate who vigorously fights to protect every one of her clientsâ€™ rights both in and out of court. Victoria is Mexican-American and fluent in Spanish, English and proficient in French. Born and raised in Cozumel, Mexico, Victoria attended Instituto Cumbres Cozumel. In 2003, she moved to Dallas with her mother and sisters, where she attended Highland Park High School before moving to Madrid, Spain for her first three years of university. While in Spain, she studied International Relations at Saint Louis University. Victoria finished university, graduating cum laude, from the University of Texas in Dallas with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science.
Victoria then attended Case Western Reserve University School of Law, where she pursued her passion for international humanitarian law and graduated with a concentration in International Law. She discovered her love for courtroom advocacy and litigation while working at the Case Western Criminal Law Clinic. During her final semester of law school, Victoria worked at the International Trade Centre, a multilateral agency which has a joint mandate with the World Trade Organization and the United Nations through the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development. During her time at the International Trade Centre, Victoria drafted and published export strategies for Ethiopia, Gambia, Kenya, Burkina Faso, and other developing countries.
Upon finishing law school, Victoria was invited to do her fellowship with the Dallas County District Attorneyâ€™s Office where her love for litigation and client advocacy grew. After her fellowship, Victoria was invited to join the defense team of Dallas County Commissioner, John Wiley Price, which concluded in an acquittal for Mr. Price. Victoria joined the McClure Law Group shortly after the conclusion of Commissioner Priceâ€™s trial to explore family law and broaden her knowledge base and attorney skillset.
Victoria opened her own law firm in 2017. She did so to continue helping those that find themselves in situations that require a strong team of litigators behind them advocating and fighting to achieve the result they deserve.
