F. David Rusin is a seasoned trial attorney with over four decades of legal experience, bringing an exceptional record of courtroom success and professional distinction to every matter he handles. Based in Western New York, Mr. Rusin currently serves as Litigation Department Head and Attorney Manager at the Law Office of William Mattar, P.C., where he has led the firm's trial practice since 2008.
Mr. Rusin's career spans the full breadth of civil litigation, from his early years as an Assistant Erie County Attorney — where he prosecuted child sexual abuse cases and served as counsel to county executives, elected officials, and department heads — to his current role managing one of the region's most active personal injury litigation departments. His practice includes oversight of complex compliance matters involving Medicare, Medicaid, ERISA, and other health plan claims.
Recognized by his peers as one of the finest trial lawyers in New York, Mr. Rusin holds a Martindale-Hubbell "AV Preeminent" rating — the highest possible designation for legal ability and ethical standards.
