He is a member of the federal trial bar in the United States District Court of Illinois and he has practiced before the first and second district appellate courts of the State of Illinois. John has represented clients from Indiana, Wisconsin, Iowa, Arizona and Texas, among others.
John has successfully dedicated his career to representing the injured in negligence cases, including truck, auto, construction, premises liability, animal attacks, medical negligence and dram shop claims, products liability and worker's compensation. John began his career as a defense attorney, representing construction companies, commercial vehicle drivers and physicians accused of medical malpractice. While successfully representing a community accused of negligence in maintenance of their recreational lake property, John realized that he should instead be representing the young high school football coach who became paraplegic in a tragic diving accident.
John graduated Magna Cum Laude from Northern University College of Law, where he was captain of the National Mock Trial team as well as co-captain of the National Moot Court team. John gives back to his profession as a judge in moot court and alternative dispute resolution competitions at the American Bar Association. "I have lived in Northern Illinois for more than 50 years and I am grateful for the opportunity to fight for injured Chicagoans and Illinoisans throughout my career."
