Elizabeth Paretta Jacklin is an experienced trial attorney with a passion for criminal defense.
Elizabeth has handled misdemeanor and felony cases in Oregon and Virginia. Elizabeth’s approach to her work is characterized by a genuine interest to get to know her client, allowing her to better understand their needs and provide personalized representation.
Elizabeth earned her law degree from the University of Oregon School of Law. After graduating, she was selected as a Gideon’s Promise Fellow, which took her to Virginia to work with underprivileged youth. In this role, she represented juveniles and adults in cases ranging from misdemeanors to serious felony offenses.
In 2021, Elizabeth returned to Oregon and continued her fellowship at the Metropolitan Public Defender’s Office as a felony attorney. Following her time there, she joined Janet Hoffman & Associates, where she handled pre-indictment investigations and felony cases.
