
Alfonso was born and raised in Mexico City, along with two siblings. He graduated from law school and subsequently obtained a Master’s degree in Tax Law. He practiced the profession in Mexico for several years until he moved to the United States.
Mr. Leon enrolled in the Advance Standing Program at the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law, at Arizona State University. He is admitted to the State Bar of Arizona and the District Court of Arizona. He is an active member of different organizations, such as Los Abogados Hispanic Bar Association, Arizona Association for Justice, Maricopa County Bar Association.
In 2025, Mr. Leon was recognized with the Top 40 Under 40, Civil Plaintiff Award from The National Trial Lawyers.
For almost a decade, Alfonso has been practicing personal injury law, representing exclusively injured Individuals who had suffered due to medical malpractice, car accidents, sleep and fall injuries and various other personal injury cases. He uses his expertise to advocate for those who need it the most, with a special focus on the Hispanic community.
As an experienced litigation attorney, Mr. Leon personally handles almost every aspect of the cases at AHL Law Group. He has recovered more than 70 million dollars in compensation for clients across Arizona. Last year alone, Mr. Leon filed over 80 lawsuits, and he is always prepared to take a case to Court when it’s in the best interest of his clients.
