
Jordan Josey is a partner at the McArthur Law Firm. Originally from the upstate of South Carolina, Jordan graduated from Clemson University and Mercer University School of Law.
While attending Mercer Law School, Jordan earned the Guerry R. Moore Insurance Award and Scholarship and the CALI Award for Excellence for the highest performance in the Problems in Automobile Insurance Litigation course. Jordan was also inducted into the Order of the Barristers, a national association recognizing excellence in the art of courtroom advocacy.
Jordan began clerking for the McArthur Law Firm during his second year of law school and developed a passion for insurance litigation and plaintiff’s practice. He joined the McArthur Law Firm as an attorney after graduation. Since joining the firm as an attorney, Jordan has represented more than 500 clients and maintained a robust personal injury practice including motor vehicle accidents, trucking accidents, premises liability cases, medical malpractice cases, and workers’ compensation cases.
Jordan has tried or been involved on the trial team for more than a dozen jury trials with the firm and numerous other non-jury bench trials. He has successfully honed his skills as a litigator and has lectured at continuing legal education conferences about trial presentation and strategy. Jordan has served as President of the Macon Trial Lawyers Association. He is a graduate of the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association LEAD program and currently serves on the civil justice PAC committee for GTLA. Jordan is also a member of the State Bar of Georgia Young Lawyers Division and has served as a YLD representative for Middle Georgia and the chair of the worker’s compensation committee.
From the time Jordan joined the firm he has consistently demonstrated his commitment to his clients, the pursuit of justice, and upholding high standards of professionalism and ethics in his law practice. Jordan was named partner with the firm in 2024.
