J. Jackson Dixon, or as friends and family call him, Jack, was born and raised in the metro Atlanta area. He started college at Kennesaw State University and then finished by graduating cum laude at Shorter University, where he was also a member of the Pi Gamma Mu International Honor Society.
He then moved to Dublin where his family, the Cordells, have always held roots. Before attending law school, Jack worked as a probation officer for multiple years at Judicial Alternatives of Georgia (JAG) where he managed a large caseload and gained experience in various different courts in multiple counties.
Jack’s family has historically held positions in state government, starting with his great-great-grandfather, who held the prestigious position of Attorney General of the State of Georgia, and continuing to current family members who presently hold positions in the Georgia legislature. In Jack’s spare time, he enjoys the outdoors, spending time with his family, and coaching baseball.
