Jay Tidwell is the founder and managing partner of Tidwell Law Group, LLC, based in Birmingham, Alabama. Although based in Birmingham, Jay has been hired to represent clients throughtout Alabama. Jay has extensive experience litigating DUI cases, Drug trafficking/distribution/possession cases as well as all other types of criminal cases in both Federal and State Courts.
Jay was born and raised in Alabama. He graduated from Auburn University in 1999. After graduating, he went to Cumberland School of law where he was Editor in Chief of the American Journal of Trial Advocacy, and he graduated in the top 15% of his law school class in 2004. He is married with three children. Outside of practicing law, Jay enjoys spending time with his family and playing golf and tennis.
